What Is Mi&u?

Mi&u is more than just a board game

it’s an experience that transcends borders. Available as a physical game and soon as an app, Mi&u facilitates encounters between people around the world. Whether you’re a language enthusiast, a curious traveler, or someone eager to connect, Mi&u provides a unique platform for language exchange.

Our Vision

We envision a world where language serves as a bridge
a channel that connects people of diverse backgrounds.

Our Mission

simple yet powerful;

to create a fun and interactive way for individuals

to meet, learn, and teach languages.

Our Motivation

Bridging Language Gaps

In Israeli and Palestinian societies, language gaps persist in everyday life. These gaps are woven into the fabric of communication between people. Parents may speak one language, while their children no longer understand it.

Mi&u aims to bridge these gaps by fostering meaningful conversations.

A Tapestry of Diversity

The holy land’s unique blend of cultures, languages, and religions presents challenges and opportunities. While social and political differences sometimes lead to unwarranted hatred, they also offer a rare chance for closeness and understanding. Language is critical in promoting peace, dialogue, and shared life.

Our Goals

Global Distribution: We aspire to make Mi&u accessible worldwide. Whether through purchasing the board game or downloading the app, we want to reach language learners everywhere.

Cultural Connections: Mi&u brings together people from different corners of the world. Our common denominator? The desire to learn a language. Through Mi&u, you’ll engage in conversations that transcend mere memorization.

Fun Learning Space: Forget traditional language apps where you study alone. With Mi&u, you learn while interacting with people from diverse cultures. Imagine it as a multicultural social media platform centered around dialogue.

Meet the Developer: Vered Hadad

Vered Hadad, an entrepreneur, developer, and artist, is the driving force behind Mi&u. Her journey began in 2007 when she established the Koresh Gallery 14, an art space within a residential building in the heart of Jerusalem. In 2009, Vered founded the non-profit organization “Koresh,” dedicated to advancing art and culture. Through her gallery, she has curated and managed numerous exhibitions and unique cross-cultural projects over the years.
